The new hair competence center in the historic Villa Demel
Modern hair treatments in a building with a history
The Villa Demel, well-known in Vienna, is deeply connected to the history of the city and that of the 17th district of Vienna. The venerable villa looks back on a glamorous history that began in the 16th century with the construction of the villa.
The current villa differs significantly from the building originally erected on the property, as the two first buildings were completely destroyed during the Turkish siege in 1683. Finally, the villa was completely rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style in 1860 by the family of the K&K court confectioner Demel and equipped with numerous Renaissance elements.
The next milestone in the history of Villa Demel is the year 1916. At this point in time the villa was acquired by Freiherrin Falkner von Sonnenburg with generous financial support from Camillo Castiglioni. Since Castiglioni was one of the richest, if not the richest men in all of Central Europe at the time, the rather proud price of the property only played a subordinate role.
Over the years, for example, the villa has been steadily expanded by the design of a classic 'English lawn or garden' and kept to the highest standard. In 2009 the villa was finally acquired by Calliope Holding AG, extensively expanded and modernized.
The villa has remained a Neuwaldegg landmark to this day and enjoys one of the most prominent locations there. Thanks to its own spring and excellent parking facilities, the villa, which consists of a main building and two auxiliary buildings, is ideal as a health and therapy center.
Now the villa is the headquarters of our hair center, where we carry out almost all known therapies such as hair loss treatments, scalp or hair analyzes.
